Ispahan Black 3ml
Ispahan Black 3ml
Aro'mantically vivacious-
subtly sweet, slightly spicy,
nuances - oil of agar and fine musk,
an ambient elixir of art and sophistication
enveloping, intoxicating, masterfully composed composition,
with mid notes of currants, opium and spice
- beans of tonka soften the approach -
which leads to a vanillic heart,
and a path to treasure.
Caressed in a dark sea of musk,
accentuated by petals and flora of grandeur's past,
still today's present, a whisper-
A hint of the finest rose from Otto is
comforting, charming and wealthy.
A curious luxury indeed -
Ispahan Black is a fusion of East and West,
which offers a reflection
of yester-year's scent-national glory,
intertwined with today's modernity -
"dare to be different, dare to be you".

WHERE DOES OPIUM COME FROM
The Opium scent is comes from the Oriental Opium Poppy Flower (Papaver Somniferum), the name derived from the Greek and Latin meaning ‘sleep-inducing’, referring to the (drug/medicinal) capabilities of the opium liquid within the poppy pod. There is a wide variety of poppies – the botanical family consists of 28 genera with over 250 different species in a multitude of colours and flower petal styles. The different colours have different meanings attached to them, in general the poppy symbolizes eternal sleep, imagination or oblivion, and was used at funerals by the ancient Egyptians to promote eternal life. The poppy also symbolizes beauty and fertility, specifically the red variety stands for pleasure, the yellow poppy is a symbol of wealth and success, while the white one is used to console. The poppy flower in itself is odourless – the deep, rich and sweetly pungent aroma of opium comes from the scent of the smoke emitted from the flower pod when it is burned.
